Nurse, Author and Relationship Coach Joelle Barbarulo Helps High Achievers Heal the Patterns Behind Their Relationships

Barbarulo is a registered nurse, relationship coach, speaker and bestselling author, and the founder of Divinity Life Coaching (divinitylifecoach.com), based in Naples, Florida. Drawing on more than 16 years of nursing experience and a background in neuroscience, she helps people heal childhood wounds, break unhealthy relationship patterns and understand the impact of emotional suppression.

Born From Personal Experience

Barbarulo's business grew out of her own journey of trauma, healing and transformation. She has faced childhood trauma, divorce and spinal cord injuries, and she raised three children as a single mother while building her career.

"Rather than allowing my past to define me, I chose healing, personal growth, and transformation," she says. Those experiences showed her how childhood wounds, emotional suppression and unresolved pain can shape identity, influence choices and create repeating patterns in relationships.

After years as a nurse, she realized her purpose extended beyond caring for the physical body. "I wanted to help others address the emotional wounds beneath the surface, break unhealthy patterns, and create lasting transformation," she says.
